The download [0.14Mb/s == 143.36kbits/s] and upload [0.05Mb/s == 51.2kbits/s] speedtest.net results do not match what you wrote in your post, still pathetically slow though.

I do not understand. I don't see the figures you are quoting anywhere in my speed test. Please explain.

I see the same results as what ic is seeing.
0.14Mbps download and 0.05Mbps upload

That is very strange because I changed the settings on speedtest to kb/s. Im gonna run another test and see what happens. Even when I checked the link myself before I posted it, it was in kb/s.

I knew something went wrong. I may not be a tech head but I am not stupid. This time I cleared my cache before I did anything. Then on speedtest I changed the setting to kilobytes per second and the distance to kilometers. Here's what followed:

1. I ran the test again and got pretty much the same results as the first time, in kilobytes per second.
2. To make sure this time, I made screen prints of everything and I downloaded the csv file, so I have proof.
3. Here the catch though. I copied the link from speedtest into notepad, cleared my cache again and closed firefox.
4. Then I copied the link into firefox to get the result, and all of a sudden the result has changed to Mb/s. How does this work?

Anyway, I can see that the result that you see when you go to the link, is different from the screen prints I made and the csv file I downloaded. I can email this if you want to have a look.

Neotel or moderator or anyone with similar experiene please help. And still though, why is my speed so bad. Normal web browsing is virtually impossible.
