Neotel Mail

Hey guys,

I have 2 clients that have trouble sending mail...

SMTP server: smtp.neomail.co.za

They get this error: Error 550 5.7.1 IP has been blocked.

But only one user gets this, other people are still able to send within the same company.

Any ideas?

You don't really have to try hard to be blocked. I started using that server yesterday and by the afternoon (after only sending something like 10 text based emails) I was blocked. Apparently it takes a hell of an effort to call NeoHell to get it re-activated.

I don't have that kind of patience. I have my own server on te net and I am using it as a SMTP server.

I don't really know what the reasons are why it gets blocked. Maybe they check the content? Maybe I had words in like "Boeremag","nipple" or "sperm donor". I don't know. NeoHell is becoming a puzzle to me.
