Hello all,

I have a query for you using Neotel already.

Does the Neotel Lite device have PPPoE functionality, can it be hooked up to a router? :erm:

Cheers,

It doesn't.

it also doesn't come with an installation CD as they say it does. When you phone up the technical dept the one person will tell you there's a disc included and the next will tell you there is not. They really have no idea what they're doing.
I struggled for 5 days to get mine up and running and I am very technical. Oh, yes, it's also not compatible with Mac. I'm now running Windows on one of my Macs and sharing the internet connection over wifi. That might be an option for you. Although not what you're looking for.

thanks for the link ushir...i've tried that driver on both tiger and leopard and it doesn't work. customer service doesn't even know what's going on because every time i phone they have a different story. just given up on them and finding my own way around it.

PM me your details so we can get you hooked up...;)

Thanks for the info guys - sad about the MAC tho :( i only have MAC and its PowerPC G5 on leopard..

@Neotel Rep does Neotel come out to do signal tests? My house sits like 2 streets away from where the coverage ends in my area..

I'm sure I used to use Neotel on my Mac (OS X Tiger when I tried) and it worked fine with the drivers. I think if its set up correctly it should work fine.

Having said that, I think it runs best with the Windows setup I have.

Rishalin,
Sorry - If we did come out and do a test and it works I wouldn't suggest it, and we wont sell it to you either being out of coverage. With less users on you might have signal but as the BTS becomes busier that signal wont hit you anymore.
