Neotel Packages

I'm currently looking at Neotel's packages, but am a bit confused and hope that anyone on here will be able to assist.

I'm looking at the following package: NeoConnect Prime 2.5G. When I search the coverage in my area, it says that we're currently only covered for Mobile Data Services and High Speed Internet Services. However, since my area is currently covered by Internet Services, can we use the Data (2.5GB) where we are covered and use the Voice Services at another location (where our sales consultant will be based)? Btw, the sales consultant's area is fully covered for all services.

stay far far far away from Neotel. They useless, steal your bandwidth, steal your money and give you no/slow Internet in return. Negative things people say about neotel is all true.

Don't tell me "I told you so"!

We were forced to go with Neotel, since we couldn't wait for Telkom's Line Installation, we need to start operating (independently by Monday). Walked into Neotel shop/office today and my experience was as follow:

Long story short, had to go through lot of drama - we couldn't get a phone, since there's no coverage in our area (we told them the phone won't be used in our area, but at our sales office, where the coverage seems brilliant (according to their coverage map). Got home, we have coverage, but the phone doesn't work.

Coverage means nothing. I have "good indoor" coverage with an external yagi antenna and the service still turns into putty on a constant basis. Basically you are trading one evil (like Telkom) for a worse one.

Search this forum for endless complaints, its not hard to find .

I'm expecting more newbies like you. NeoHell is in overdrive on advertising their services. Saw a bunch of their adverts on TV, Pretoria News and every 10 mintutes on 702. Expect more naïve and ignorant consumers get screwed.

A word of advice, don't get blinded by hate for Telkom.

Thanks for the heads up. I am also looking for a Neotel solution for my offices on Witkoppen rd Northriding and don't want to end up being frustrated by incompetent individuals. Guess I will stick to cell phones and Tellom wireless data. Please let us know When Neotel sorts out your handset problem.
