Neotel Uncapped Download Caps???

Hi I have had this service for almost a week now. I have noticed one irritating thing. If I leave a download on overnight it disconnects at 2gigs and you have to manually reconnect. This is irritating if you like to leave things overnight. I tried just leaving the connection on without downloading and it stays connected overnight. Anyone else experiencing this artificial cap???

I also experienced this cap. Their voice was also a joke so I am no longer with them.

You are right. I have noticed the same thing on my prime unlimited....when getting to 2 gig, you get disconnected.

What I've done is to rather connect using the dial-up connection in windows that is created when you install the 'NEO-crap' dial-up software. Just set the properties of the windows dial-up connection to 'redial when line is dropped', set redial attempts to something like 99 and 'idle time before hangup' to 'never'.

Alternatively (or in addition to the above), you can also set your download manager to redial whenever the connection is dropped. I am using IDM download manager, it has an option in its settings to use windows dial-up networking when downloading. In actual fact, I have set both windows and IDM as a 'backup', if the one does not redial, the other would! So far this has worked great and I have never had to manually reconnect. :)
