Just a head's up - Neotel fibre links has seriously deteriorated over the past two years to appoint where I would seriously caution any new potential clients to make sure what is promised can be delivered effectively and continuously.

There's core capacity issues and its evident! Nobody can really give answers...

Anyone else that can share there experience?

Escalate your issue and keep escalating till they resolve your problem. There is a high chance that they broke the config on your cpe.
See this thread: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/682552-Neotel-Fibre-customers-please-assist-with-a-test
After they resolved that issue the broke our uploads (limited us to 1Mb up). That was a fun one - I had to threaten to cancel before they sorted my issue out (took 4 months!).

I am currently not noticing any speed issues with any of our lines (5Mb, 10Mb and 100Mb)

We have threaten to cancel. Problem is they say there is a capacity issue with the route. It's not in Gauteng / massive metro.

Use to run smoothly... It spikes/drops very inconsistent, latency spikes - really as if there's capacity issue/contending

Time to maybe move on... They seem to be dropping the ball if I talk to friends / colleagues also dealing with them

Are you on NeoInternet(NeoOne) or Broadband?

Also noticed this, NeoBroadband 10mbit gets less than 1mbit on some days.... sometimes less than 0.5mbit. Other days it's great and I get near the full 10mbit. NeoInternet 5mbit battles to reach 2.5mbit.

Their voice is still very good though and it would be a mission to move everything away from them, so a few clients are considering downsizing their Neotel links/using them as failovers and getting VOX Fat Pipe Business fibre (R6k p/m for 50mbit 1:2 from VOX versus R5.5k p/m for 10mbit 1:10 from Neotel) to use as primary connectivity.
