Our area is the latest to have it's streets torn up in the name of 'just-as-cr@p-as-Telkom' broadband. Their trenches and orange fencing run right through the area like the Dead Scar in WoW :p

Will get some pics later. Just annoys me that they dig the whole place up and just leave it like that. God knows when they'll put it back. And when the next useless telecoms company comes along we'll be treated to this all over again. Yay.

Yeah, I don't know why they didn't just put it on top of the pavement with some Scotch tape FFS...

How do you know if it's being dug up for fibre though?

Like the N1 between JHB and PTA... was that for road extentions, gautrain or fibre purposes?
(When I asked a colleague this he mocked me and said 'sure, they're laying fibre in the middle of the high-way so that no-one will be able to steel the cables later on...'

you should check out the 'I think you are 40 and live in your mother's

Strange, but I don't recall a n00b ever having the upper hand in attacking a non-n00b....

Neotel has trenches? :D
Good joke actually. The closest I've seen them to home is 15km :(

Who says it neotel buddy??? Like I said:

OP did. Check the title. Check the pics - heck, everything points to it. You really want a signed, notarized & certified letter that it is them?

I like the 'personal touch' you brought in on that last pic ;)

1) I am not 40 - not even close. Lol
2) ConsiderThis needs to Consider finding out how to spell "Newbee"/n00b
3) While on that topic, I saw so many spelling errors ala typos and stuff today...  :o

Umm guys, have you seen the "Neotel @ work" sign boards when Neotel is allegedly onsite?

Reason I ask is I have witnessed this. I have also witnessed Vodacom cutting up the suburbs and their contractors have not signage and use the new safetey regulation barriers...

So stop and ask the site supervisor which company it is for before pointing fingers...
