Nero 7

I'm having numerous problems with Nero 7. After installing it and using it a few times, I get a error with the next time I launch an application from the Nero Smart console about a fatal sytem error. After restarting the computer, I still get this problem. I've tried reinstalling it, but to no avail.

I've had this problem before, but fixed it by formatting my PC and reinstalling everything.

This time however it was on a new computer...

I was wondering if this is a common problem or could it be my version (or copy of the installation disk)?

Nero 6 works fine if I install this on the same computer WITH Nero 7 still on.

I know of several PCs around and about (mine included) with Nero 7 and I've never heard of this before, so I doubt the theory of it being Nero 7 the program ..and if you've got a corrupted installation disk, surely it wouldn't even install?

I have had the error before, I uninstalled all the extras and just left the cd writing part. I also copied the exe from the install cd to the install folder.

Haven't had any issues since.

Have you checked the site for an update?

if its pirate it does have problems

Are you using the same writer hardware that the software came with? Nero, unless you buy the full generic version, isn't transportable across writers.

I only use Nero with my DVD writer. I'll also thought that it couln't be the install disk. Was a thought.

I'll try installing only the writer part. Don't use the rest anyway.
