nero burning rom micro and light

I'm using Nero Lite. It's good because the author repacks the official nero 8 installer and stripped out all the unnecessary junk. Very stable.

You will still need a valid nero 8 serial no.

the micro looks like what i want actually, just nero burning part and nothing else.

I used Nero until it became too bloated. Switched to ImgBurn (which is freeware) and I am actually using it as I type this.

It seems to be a common trend to make software so bloated that it becomes unusable. I also like ImgBurn and it works. Nothing fancy but all I want is to write the data to disc anyway, hell even a command line app would be fine.

It's brilliant. I dropped Nero for it a while back and have not looked back. It's by the same author as DVD Decryptor. He switched to it after the UK music crowd went after him.

Still, a quick search on the site sees InfraRecorder being heavily punted as the best answer but if you're absolutely, positively hooked on Nero, it seems Nero6 can be made to live on USB. Still, the work at Nero Lite seems interesting ..or just wander around a bit, I suppose.
