Our HR Systems Development Team has a vacancy available for an .Net Developer. If you have proven Transact-SQL server skills, SQL Reporting Services experience, excellent analysis and problem solving skills and enjoy a challenge, then you should consider applying for this position.


Key performance areas:
•Provide systems support services to the TFG HR community
•Provide consulting services to users to determine optimal solutions
•Gather, understand and document business requirements
•Develop reports, extracts and interfaces
•Test and implement application solutions
•Code, test and implement changes
•Proactively manage vendor deliverables to ensure that desired outcomes and objectives are achieved
•Ensuring successful upgrades and system changes of 3rd party applications


Ideally you should have:


•A relevant tertiary qualification
•3-4 year experience as a developer in a similar role
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
•MS SQL Server experience with Transact-SQL language skills
•MS SQL Reporting Services experience
•Classic ASP and/or ASP.NET development experience

You should be:

•Able to work independently, as well as within a team
•Customer service focused
•Detail focused
•Able to work under pressure and show initiative
•A good communicator
•Organised and able to meet deadlines

Preference will be given to, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
