I don't think it is supported anymore but uses heuristics instead of filter lists, so should work. I have it on my kid's notebook and I did a few tests and it stopped porn sites pretty well.

edit: there are a couple of extensions for Firefox:

+1 .. that is what I was gonna suggest. Use it on my kids PCs at home.

Feck, I've installed it and can't find the uninstall option in programs and features/program files or start menu. Can't right click and disable either.

This thing is here for good.

Whereas Dansguardian is installed on the gateway PC and filters the content served to other PC's, whether they be Macs, WinXP or Vista PC's, there is absolutely no need to install extra software whatsoever on the other PC's after Dansguardian have been installed and configured.

Q: I want uninstall the software but i cannot find it. Where is it?

A: It should be visible as a red flower icon in the tray area (near Windows' time). If you cannot see it, perhaps it is hidden (there is a small arrow that you can click to show hidden tray icons in Windows XP.) If you still cannot access it, but you are sure that Naomi is working (porn sites are being blocked, etc.) then please download and install the "no tray icon plugin" (see above for download and usage instructions.) Then you will be able to use the "naointerface" command to access the filter's interface, using your password, to uninstall it. If you still cannot access the filter's interface, then the filter is not working: either the filter is not installed, or the installation failed.
