Net software developer

You are cloud based but you want to recruit a developer to work at your fixed location office in Cape Town.

Oh the hypocrisy.

Might have something to do with cloud services working well and telecommuting hardly ever working. SoA != telecommuting

Or just throw out a snarky comment. It's easier

I just call it like I see it. Am I the only person who finds it ironic that the same company who sells this advance recruiting cloud service to all these large companies they list on their site but when they need to recruit themselves they end up breaking forum rules posting an ad in the forum instead of using the classifieds.

Telecommuting works great. Skype, google hangouts and cloud services rock. This South African work culture of not working without someone physically checking you is a reflection of how outdated thinking here still is. If the spamming OP want me to work 9 to 5 at his new cloud startup at his office sitting 2 hours in traffic everyday he can go fly a kite.

Jeez this is a broadband forum I would think people won't be as pessimistic over developers working remotely.
I work with people in the US West coast using videoconf over Internet to communicate and it is seen as normal and that is the other side of the world yet if I mention it to a South African employer I am made to feel guilty.

Graylink is the leading provider of cloud-based recruitment software to corporate Africa. Our web and mobile recruiting solutions help corporate companies recruit the best talent quicker, more efficiently and for less.
And why don't you use you own solution to recruit a developer or don't you eat your own dog food?

It looks like they are, well kinda. Fishtank seems to be one of their solutions but it seems strange that they need to break forum rules to get find staff.
Or is that the normal MO, randomly posting on forums?
