What exactly is .Net.

How come their are three different versions, do i need all three? How come they take so dammed long long to install via the Microsoft update site.

I tried to integrate them into a nlite XP SP2 slipstreamed disc and this did not succeed. Anyone gotten this right?

You only need .Net if you run applications that require it. Only install .Net Framework 3.0 (currently the latest version). If you have an older application you may need .Net Framework 1.1 as well.

Thanks that a great link.
No problem, I prefer the RyanVM way of doing things over N-lite, its easier and less fiddly. I also don't like integrating everything, prefer doing one-click installs when I have finished installing Windows, even though it takes a bit of extra time.

RyanVM FTW!
