Hi guys. I'm looking to join a group that shares a Netflix account.

The highest tier is R 199. Thus sharing among 4 people is R 50 pm pp.

Anyone part of a crew with 3 people and looking for 1 more?

If you can afford a decent line to watch Netflix on you can afford the full R199.

It's not even R199 AFAIK, it's $11.99. And what happens if someone shares the account details with their buddies and you can't login? Just pay, it's not that much...

What if one member in the group decides to share all 4 connections amongst his family... :p

Friend of mine is on my profile

I'm paying for it anyway so might as well.

Don't think you should be sharing for $$$ reasons though tbh

ATM, R 199 is quite a lot. Once I'm able to pay the whole thing on my own, I'll sign up for my own account. Do let me know if I can join your Netflix account. Will EFT the R 50 per month. If you bank with the same bank as me, I'll EFT a day before renewal, otherwise 3 - 5 days before renewal if that's fine with you. :)

Why not ?

Cause they would make more money if they didn't allow it? There are 5 people that I know of using my account around durban and cape town... Netflix have never even asked me why my house covers half the country lol

Surely they can't be using it concurrently ? I pay for 2 screens, should not matter who uses it.

It really surprises me that netflix allow it...
They also implicitly condoned the use of VPNs.

I don't think they mind too much what people do unless it rains on their parade.

Also worth pointing out that to enable this sharing you need to be on the higher tier plan anyway.
