I dont have a smart TV, how can I watch Netflix and Showmax on my TV?

A laptop. PC. Android PC. Apple TV. Even a smartphone with an HDMI adaptor will work.

I think some media players will also do the job. Friends of mine used their first gen Wii Player to stream Netflix. Innovative, but it worked.

I bought one recently. (I have 2 "dumb" TV's) I required some form of player to enable streaming/casting. So far the Chromecast is working 100%. Thinking of getting another for my other TV.
