Netflix gives error on android tv

Recently bought the Skyworth 40inch FHD TV, have downloaded Netflix from the play and directly from the Netflix site. The app gives device not compatible error when trying to a play content. I can sign in and browse just fine, problem when pressing play.

Please advise on how I can solve this issue

Might be mistaken but did you download the android tv version of Netflix ? Usually that app gives the mentioned error when installed on a tv that is not netflix certified (skyworth is not). Maybe try the normal android app for tablets and phones?
