Hi

Anybody else having a problem connecting to netflix?

Streamed a movie earlier - went for supper and ever since it gives me errors AIP-701 or AIP-703 on the PS3 and and error stating netflix is not available jn my location on the PC.

Heres what i have tried severaltimes thus far:
  • I have reset the IP
I have logged out and rebooted several times
I have changed the DNS settings on my router
I have pulled my hair out

Any help on how to fix

Edit: i am using Unotelly

When you say reset the IP what do you actually mean?

You updated it with your DNS provider?

Same issues I had yesterday on my Xbox. I changed DNS back to automatic and tried. Netflix not available in my region (or sonething).
Went back to change the DNS back to the Unotelly setting and it worked again.
Tried this afternoon. Same error.
Haven't tried to sort it out again.

Everything worked fine until telkom decided to hold talks with Netflix :(

Log a support ticket with Unotelly.Had a similar problem and they fixed it in 5 mins. There seems to be a problem currently with Unotelly

Few months ago this was specific to the PS3 version which did lookups to other DNS servers.

Only way to fix it was to block access to those servers (OpenDNS and Google DNS) on your router.

In some cases manually pointing to Unotelly from the PS3 and not relying on the Router would also work.

Thanks will try this

Who's your ISP?
There is also a problem with Telkom - or rather "something on the international side"
I call BS
thread earlier today...

Yes I'm also experiencing same issues.

4Mbps line running at 0.42 according to speedtest.net

Post whatever the outcome is.

Ticket opened. Will post the outcome if any

Got a response from Unotelly

Changed dns from jhb to Egypt and all is working again (did previously change dns from cpt to jhb which did not help)

Guess it must be to do with the local servers or telkom

Same problem again today. Tried several different dns. No joy.

Will open another ticket at unotelly, just wanted to know if anyone else is having a problem. If not- which dns are u using

ISP = Telkom

Unotelly says...UnoDNS Setup is incomplete. Please complete UnoDNS setup.

Did their troubleshooting steps - doesn't work.
