Netflix not working on vpn

Hi I have smartdnsproxy and express Vpn and I can’t watch any Us titles only netflix titles show up. Is the Us limited to only netflix titles ?

is anyone else having this problem ? When I switch off the proxy then I see all movies and series in South Africa
 
Are you using both services at the same time?

no I had smartdns for a while and signed up for express vpn yesterday as everyone says they good but cant finish walking dead on both as they have disappeared from my list
 
My smartdnsproxy is working fine. I'm watching US netflix right now. Have you set up your router properly?

I get the same with my nvidia shield and smartdns(es). Nowadays I just use a vpn app on the device and set it as everything through the vpn; which works fine for vrv, hbo, disney+ and netflix. But disney+ recently started to be more of an issue with either code 39 or blocking ip ranges with error 'too many connections from this ip, we've blocked it'. haha.
 
Works fine with Windscribe
 
I'm on nordvpn, all fine with US titles, are you maybe trying to chromecast from your phone? Chromecast won't work when you use VPN app on your phone.
