I have got Netflix working on my PC
How do I set it up so that it is available on all the PC's and smart TV's in my house that are connected to my network?

Thanks in advance

just set the unotelly DNS on your router (i assume you are using unotelly)
or you could set the DNS on each and every device

Unotelly is the best I +!1 that, but for your other devices like the smart tv will need the Netflix app installed (which might be a challenge considering the local TV app stores do not have those apps for Africa) . But if you also have a playstation3 there is a work around to install the app.
Another option is to try the chromecast i havent used it myself but that might help on the TV side of things. I have netflix on the PC & PS3 all working good.

What a question.

Firstly you need Unotelly on your router. This will allow any device on your Network to use netflix. If you have an Android tablet you could even grab the app. Check my signature for more.

Then for the Smart TVs it depends on the TV itself. With Samsung TVs you need to change the TV region to US or UK.

i have netflix , hulu , available on all the pc's and tv's in my house , its best to set your routers DNS to one of the unotelly servers otherwise every now and then when you log onto netflix unotelly will ask you to update your ip address , as your router may have assigned a new ip to the pc you are watching on . as for watching on the tv's you will probably find that the loading times are irritatingly slow , another option here , if you are using samsung tv's is to use playon , i personally have got an old laptop with a jigged screen connected to the one tv and an apple tv on the other . I messed around with this for ages till i got it all working lekker , if you need any help drop me a msg

Semicolon, who is your ISP and what line speed you running? How many tv's, pc's can you stream at the same time?

Does having the unotelly settings in your router have any effect on any of your other browsing? For example, will I be able to stream Supersport or will it assume I am in another country? And what about browsing speeds, latency etc, are they affected?

You need about 1.5meg per simultaneous stream for decent quality. So 4Meg does two streams. 6meg 3streams. 2Meg can do two low quality streams though.

it's all in the Unotelly FAQ.

Anything not supported by them will get redirected to Google DNS. So your supersport won't be affected.

Howzit Crawler , i'm on a telkom 10 meg uncapped line , as Chevron says is correct , you also have the option to choose on both hulu and netflix the quality you want to stream , high, med or low , when my "fabulous" telkom line is playing up i stream on low and there really is nothing wrong with it . i have managed to stream 4 shows at one time .

With regards to the question re kids and nature shows , have a look at unotelly premium and gold channels .

http://livetv.sx/en/allupcoming/ , for live sport , couple of ads and pop ups to close down but once the stream is running its not bad at all

I missed the part on kids shows. Netflix has parental controls built it. There's even a kids corner for all the kids shows and there's plenty of documentaries too.

it's all in the Unotelly FAQ.

Thanks for the answer but man I hate it when someone refers you to FAQ when asking something :D The reason for asking on an SA forum is to get first hand SAn feedback.
