Hi guys,

I am looking at going for Afrihosts Gold 4/10mbps service with 75gigs data pm. Would this be ok to stream Netflix from for an hour or 2 every night? (screw Dstv)

Thanks

It is so simple.
I use my Credit Card.
You take your existing postal code and search on google for a US equivalent.

When you enter your cc details you use the US equivalent postal code.

Just do what I have said, it works fine.
You can even setup a US paypal account using your SA card with a US postal code.

I use www.entropay.com -- gives me an international credit card. Have sucessfully used it for Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Instant video/Google Movies.

You guys make it so complicated.

You only need to above methods for Hulu+.

With Netflix you can use any US zip code and your normal SA credit card will work.

Unotelly if you want to pay or http://tunlr.net/ if you want it free.

They aren't the same thing. Unotelly is better. I'll quote a piece from tunlr's FAQ:

Why you shouldn’t set your DNS permanently to Tunlr

For speed, stability, privacy and security reasons we do not recommend to permanently set your computer’s or router’s DNS addresses to Tunlr. Setting the DNS permanently to Tunlr also puts a heavy strain on Tunlr’s network infrastructure. In order to render the permanent use of our DNS resolvers less attractive, we’re artificially delaying responses to DNS queries. What this means is that your Internet surfing experience will be a lot slower than if you’d just use your Internet service provider’s DNS resolver. However, your ability to download/stream audio or video content is not affected by this delay. To sum it up: do not use our DNS resolver for day to day web surfing.

Unotelly you can leave on without any performance hit.

Yes I am including you. No you didnt say the same thing as me.

You don't a "US equivalent" postal code for Netflix. ANY US zip code one will do. Even 90210.
