Netflix to pay Comcast for direct connection

Paul, you think Telkom may sign-off on a similar deal here as we had word that they have been trying to get Netflix to us? This could shake things up :D.

Monochoice will block them as they own rights to shows coming into SA. I cancelled my DSTV last month and using Netflix / hulu for TV need - couldn't be happier.
 
any deal would need to involve SABC, Naspers, the guys behind eTV and Sentech unfortunately because these boys will block Telkom if they get half a chance

Saw Zulu subtitles as an option on Example Short 23.976 this past weekend. Not sure of this a taste of things to come?

That Zulu subtitles is definitely something that hints. Now to see when they show other languages :p. Nice find icbxx ^_^
 
As long as Naspers exists in SA, under it's current freedoms and protection, we will never "legally" see Netflix here.
