Netflix ups US fees for first time since 2015

The company's mid-range plan, which allows streaming on two devices at the same time, was increased to $10.99 per month from $9.99.
The top-tier plan, which allows streaming on four screens in high definition, was raised to $13.99 per month from $11.99. The basic plan fee remained at $7.99.

Guess since we pay in USD we're also affected.

how are we going to be billed differently ? will have to turn of vpn to pay , need more info on how it picks up where you are paying from.

I just chatted Netflix about this and here was their response:

Hi there! Glad you came to ask about this. You see, this update is affecting only new sign ups. Since you already have an account, you won't see any changes. We'd email you personally before anything happens on the account. So if you need help with anything else on the account do let me know.

Apparently it only affects new accounts anyways?
