Netflix

I'm pretty sure the OP just meant he needed someone to come to his home to setup Netflix for him, hence him asking for someone from the Jhb area. He can confirm if that's indeed the case, but that's what I gathered from his post.
Same... The OP never mentioned not having any from of payment but Khanya seems to know something we dont.

I read that OP half asleep. Surely he doesn't mean he needs someone to install two pieces of software.

That's just a humongous facepalm.

It's not just a matter of installing software. There's DNS settings to play with on the router/Smart TV/Media device. Did it ever occur to you that there might actually be people on this board that aren't too technically minded, hence the reason for asking for some help ? Maybe offer some, if you can, instead of mocking the dude.

If you're at all technically inclined it's honestly not difficult. There will invariably also be niggles later on, and you'll have a much better idea of where to start troubleshooting if you did the setup yourself. You'll need:

  1. Means to circumvent the geolocation; UnoTelly seems to be the flavour of the season, but I've seen unblock-us bandied about as well. Keep in mind that we are assigned IP address upon connection, so you'll also need an active PC on your home network in order to update your IP address to which ever service you choose. I went with UnoTelly, and it's worked flawlessly for the past week.
  2. A US address.
  3. Means to pay after your month trial runs out. I set up a virtual credit card with Entropay, but ended up scooping a voucher for a year on eBay for $40

If you get stuck on Thursday holler on here.

I still get a "not available in your country" message when using hola
Remember the extention needs to be active not just installed. Close & reopen browser.
Go to chrome://extensions/ to see if the extension is active.
Media hint is also a free extention you can try if Hola doesn't work.

If all fails then get Unotelly, unlock-us or any VPN. Also when creating an account keep it all US

Anyone have issues with Netflix last night, I could browse shows but as soon as I push play it would say unable to connect to Netflix... Hulu was working.

Everything is still on trial: Unotelly, Netflix and Hulu...
