Netgear 834N_admin password forgotten :(

Hi,

I seem kinda silly asking for advise on this one,

not too long ago, I changed the default user and password to login to the netgear modem / routers settings section. My problem is, I cant recall the correct combination and cant get it at all to review / update my settings especially my wireless settings,

Any advice on how to change the user and password or where one can view such information (it must be stored somewhere)???

any advice on the way forward? besides writing my password down

youll have to reset the router to factory defaults......
