Hi Guys

Hope you can help, i have an access point that keeps on losing it setting what can i do to resolve it? what could be cause the problem? i definately save the settings and after a few weeks the access point just looses it settings. please help guys, the access point connects to another access point which keeps its settings?

Thanks

Probably a faulty mainboard or flash chip on the unit - return for warranty or replace.

What's the power source to the unit like? Try swapping the power supplies of the two units and see if the problem is reversed (working one stops working, etc.) - unlikely, but worth a try.

Agreed with post 2 although I don't see how the power source will solve it as the router remembers the settings on chip. Get the router replaced.

If the power source is causing brownouts or spikes due to faulty PSU or input power, the NVRam can be upset.
