I have one of these with 512k business a/c, but find that when using bit torrent or multi-session software, it slows down and even seems to hang after a few minutes. Reset it and all ok - I get the feeling this is something to do with t31k0m and their qos. Any takers? I'll try upping firmware and see...

I have a DG834UK and it has been rather faultless so far ... running the latest beta firmware atm.

speak to malec. he had EXACTLY the same problem and got his Netgear modem swopped out. Actually he got an upgrade..

Ye Ed I had that problem as well ... After tons of reading and Googling I came to this conclusion: THE NETGEAR DG632 IS A USELESS PIECE OF ****

Their support is terrible. I had like 7 tickets open for a few months (reminded me of the sentech days *shiver*) and about the only time I got a response was when they sent me a url to a torrent fact CLEARLY stating that the problem is because the router has crap firmware and the only thing you can do to avoid it locking up is by limiting your speed.

There is a beta version of firmware out http://forum1.netgear.com/support/viewtopic.php?t=605. I tried to flash it but bricked my modem. The guys on that forum says it sorts the P2P problem but after bricking my 1st one I just took the replacement and made them upgrade it for me to the DG834 which works ok (had to pay likw 200 bucks though)
