Any reason why even with PPOE relay enabled I cant seem to have an account running on router and then dial another acc, think this is half bridge . It attempts to dial but then gets stuck on verifying username and password. No error message nothing just sticks at that screen and doesnt say anything or go any further. Anyone else had this issue? How can I fix it?

Do you mean the DG834G?

I have that modem, and had problems connecting between 5 Nov and 7 Nov. Here's the link: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?p=1314430

Also, yesterday I installed adsl for my parent's, same modem, same problem. I'm going back to their house today. I will be phoning Telkom support when I get there, as I think the problem is related to my first problem.

Your problem however, doesn't sound exactly the same, to me. With me and my parent's modem, it didn't even get to the authentication stage. It just "Initialize LCP" forever.

I had that problem it turned out to be telkom ISP having cancelled my isp acc when I moved without notifying me so I got a new acc and presto it worked. Damn Telkom.
