Netgear DG834 manual please

hi has anyone got this netgear router (Netgear DG834) please, i have just ordered it and would like to read the manual before it arives please thankyou very much

I thought so too, and it was going to be my answer, so I checked the site.
Alas, "nothing available to download" for the DG834, guess that's the reason thedarkProphet posted his question.

yes m8, but a lot of emails to netgear, and winging on the phoone, they have agreed to post the manual, on the site, only problem is it was to l8, router arived, but what a nightmare now, the wrong cd is in the box, on the label it says netgear dg834, but when you autoplay the cd it says mr8114v2 cable dsl wireless router, so the cd is no good, any kind person got the cd, that could image for me, netgear wont send me one, where i brought the router from wont send me one.

15 emails to netgear, and 2 telephone calls them, 10 emails to microwharehouse, and 4 telephone calls, still no cd, can anyone please help me please

Yep, still *planning* to get one... Unfortunately the first shipment apparently only arrives in SA on 15 Nov. I'm also still trying to find a way to buy direct from the distributors (Duxbury) as I feel I don't need to pay a (at least) 10% markup for someone else to collect & deliver. Frankly I'm quite capable of providing support to myself []

To answer prophet's question; sorry mate, may only be getting this "highly regarded" piece of equipment in a couple of week's time. If I do, I'll let you know!

Recently set-up a couple of DG834's - a snip.

I think this is the perfect adsl ethernet modem for ZA.
Features, features and easy easy config.

ps. I have nothing to do with the distributors nor netgear.
