Netgear DG834 no longer needed

I installed ADSL and wireless network in January this year in a B&B. The owners are selling the B&B and will no longer need the wireless router which came new with the 24 month contract. Cancelling the remaining 18 months of the contract will cost about R1400. Selling the router will offset this expense a bit.

What do the current owner and the buyer need to do to change ownership of the router.

Any offers?

I tried selling mine for 400 or so and didn't get much luck so I doubt it will help offset much.

I think many people are aware of the fact that you get the router free on contract, so I am doubtful if that will offset the cost by much.

Does this mean it is now an ornament? I was not expecting anywhere near the cancellation cost. Perhaps R500....R400...?

Try and persuade the new owners to take the BB with the adsl contract and router?

It appears they don't want it. There seem to be enough complications and misunderstandings already in the sale. New owners not using it as B&B.
