Netgear DG834G v3 - Custom Firmware

Hi,

I'm looking for firmware for this that allows for the use of an additional dynamic DNS provider.

The latest Netgear firmware for the unit only allows for DynDns which is a paid for service.

I'd like to use someone like no-ip and avoid paying if possible as its only 1 address needed.

Any advice?

You dont actually need to input that in your router, I have a NO-IP account, i use the DUC Program that came with it.

Yeah was about to say use a device behind the Routet instead.

Easier than trying to find firmware.

Whilst that is true, it means leaving a device on and in this case no device is on premises as the laptop used gets taken home. I guess i'll have to hack together some Open-WRT or some such.
