I have a Netgear DGN2200M that I use with a Huawei E367 8ta USB dongle.
Lately I have been getting a lot of disconnects and then the router does not reconnect the dongle. I have to switch the router off in order to get the 3G signal back. The wi-fi remains up, but the internet connection via 3G is dead.
I have also noticed that when I remove the dongle from the cradle, that the internet LED on the router keeps flashing red/green and does not go off. This is the same when I disconnect the USB cradle from the router. If I restart the router without the cradle or dongle connected the LED does not come on (as one would expect) and once connected, it goes into the correct procedure and connects to 3G. This seems to point to an issue with the Netgear router's detection of the 3G dongle.
I have checked the router settings and al is as it was for the last year. Both the dongle and router is on the latest firmware:
Router: V1.0.0.37_1.0.21WW
Dongle:11.807.05.20.00
Any ideas or others that have the same issue?
