Netgear DGN2200Mv2 [Telkom] Firmware

Just checking in to see if anyone perhaps may be able to point me in the right direction.

Looking for firmware file of version 1.0.0.55 or later/latest, but seem to just find 1.0.0.49 at this link: http://www.netgear.co.za/telkom/dgn2200.html

The latest firmware for this unit is 1.0.0.53 where did you see 1.0.0.55? The telkom branded unit is different hardware from the international one unfortunately. Source code of the firmware is on the Netgear site.

My router says it's the 1.0.0.55 version, but there's no backup firmware option :/ What's weird though is I remember installing an older firmware so that other ISP's would work on it.

What happens if you install the standard international version on this router? Does it kill it or just not work correctly?

I think it may be misreporting the version number. I can't find any mention of the 1.0.0.55 version besides for on the DGN2200v1 page on netgears website.

Also, I don't have the firmware saved on my computer and I always keep firmware. I think I actually have 1.0.0.27 or 1.0.0.47 installed.
