Netgear DSL light static red

Hi guys.

So after last night's lighting storm my netgear router only has a static red light on it. Everything is connected properly but no other lights come on. Any advice on what could solve the issue? Our cordless phones were knocked out as well as all our ethernet cards in all of the computers on the network. Could it perhaps be dead (the router).

I would suspect that if the Phones, PC's and Ethernet cards were hit, your poor router didn't stand a chance... Nice little EMP strike possibly or a helluva surge through the phone lines would have taken everything out on the circuit...
