Netgear MBR624GU with cell c

HI all i am new to this forum and hope some one can help me
i moved back from the uk and bought my netgear router with me as,i then bought a black cell c usb modem for R2999 from cell c.
when i went to use it it said please upgrade fw but every time i try it stops half way through and then comes up saying it was unable to do the update.
does anyone know why it is doing that or how i can fix it as i dont feel like going and paying R1000 + for a new one from incredible connection

I use a MBR624GU with a Cell C E1820 modem on Cell C and it works like a charm.

I am using the latest worldwide firmware (I have the worldwide router not the USA one, this uses different firmware). Make sure that you are trying to load the correct firmware.

i bought it in the uk so i think it is not a usa one but how do i check
i also went into incredible connection yesterday and took one of theirs off the self updated in the store with them to the latest fw and it still did not work ,
is there a chance they would have usa versions
i downloaded this fw and it said for world wide here is a link

i know it said it is compatible with the e1820 modem so i dont understand why it is not working
