Can anyone comment on the Netgear R6300? I am either looking at getting this from the States or the Asus RT-AC66U from Amazon for the same price.

Specs seem to be similar on paper - although I'm not much of a tech

Just FYI, those are Wifi Access points, not a router, there are no RJ11 Ports for your ADSL line. Are you aware of this?

I would pick the Netgear due to the QoS and it also has WPA2-PSK instead of only enterprise.

Ok, its not a ADSL router.

Yup i am thanks! I ended up getting the Asus RT-AC66U from Kalahari - now it just needs to hurry up and get here :D

QoS on ADSL is pointless.

I would think QoS would be more important on ADSL than on anything higher, I would rather my router prioritized VoIP and gaming traffic than someone streaming movies around the network, e.g. laptop to TV(s).
