Netgear Router won't block sites through proxy

My netgear DG834G's "Block sites" feature will not block sites when the HTTP Proxy is enabled.

With no proxy, sites are successfully blocked.

Is there any other way to block sites ? Specially pr0n sites and .exe files

Or how can I get my router to block with the proxy enabled?
