Hi all,

I purchase 4 wall mount boxes from Esquire yesterday (3 of them Netix) and connected it all up according to the diagram inside, when i ran it through a cable tester, my results where wayyy off base. I then manually went and traced the circuits to see which pin the corresponded to and found out that the diagram included is not standard T568B wiring (have no clue what standard it is).

So if anybody else has an issue with these surface mounts, here is the correct wiring scheme (this is with the RJ45 connector facing up):

RJ45

BRW W/ORA
W/BRW ORA
BLU W/GRN
W/BLU GRN

I also received one Sircony wall mount, its diagram is correct.

Hope this saves somebody else some time.

Cheers

I just did mine, I used T568A wiring, google is your friend. I was also confused as the diagrams showed me A and B, so i googled anf determined that A is the best to use.

I just noticed this thread now, while searching for netix...

I installed about 18 of these netix double wall boxes from esquire, after connecting all I started testing and also noticed that the wires are all mixed up, so I replaced a few of the boxes as the client need to to use it urgently and I didn't have time to manually trace the wires..

Today I checked and all the colours are mixed up (incase anyone else has the same issue)...

on the 568A, I matched the following colours

box --> wire

GREEN --> BROWN
GREEN/WHITE --> BROWN/WHITE
BLUE/WHITE --> BLUE
BLUE --> BLUE/WHITE

BROWN/WHITE --> GREEN/WHITE
BROWN --> GREEN
GREEN --> ORANGE/WHITE
GREEN/WHITE --> ORANGE

This is for the Netix Double WallBox, the board inside is marked with the following:
