I have a 6680 unfortunately, and I have Netmonitor installed. I can not for the life of me figure out how to lock onto a 3G tower and stay on it? If some1 could explain it to me the easiest possible way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Simply go to the screen menu that shows you three options.. 1 Dual 2 UMTS 3 GSM or something like that... Dual and UMTS is in the list

Press Options >>> Execute, press 2 (I think) whichever UTMS is.
Phone reboots, now its on UMTS only...

btw, whats wrong with 6680, I have one and its the best phone I have ever used.

Awesome phone, true, but the bluetooth is crap. I have a genuine Nokia kit in the car and the phone keeps disconnecting from the kit, as well as locking up occassionally. I have tried 3 6680's, all the same.

Thanks for your help, but I only have dual, GSM or WCDMA available as options. If I select WCDMA, it seems to stay on 3G, but will it disconnect if I'm out of 3G coverage?

My Bluetooth doesn't work at all... :(

If you move out of 3G and you are on WCDMA setting, the phone will NOT go back to GSM. You will have no reception.

I got no bluetooth issues, strange that I am so lucky. Anyways, soz, ts WCDMA then, that keeps it on 3G and you are correct, if you are outside WCDMA/3G/UMTS range then it will NOT go to GSM because its locked onto 3G. :)

Works fine if you are in a city or watever.
