NetMonster app (Android) - nearby cellular transmitter detection

I'm posting this thread here, since the expertise in this section of the forum are most likely to familiar with the tech in this app.

This app has been released in 2014. It is ad-free.
It seems very technical in the data it provides and at the same time, doesn't seem too difficult to understand.

Please advise on anything especially useful, since I've only started using this today and not knowledgeable of the terms and data this app uses and shares.

This dose not work with Rain / CellC

I know where the towers are for the top 2 providers.

Mtn and Vodacom , TelkomSA towers can be seen on the map.

I wish Vodacom would offer a better packages cause i have a tower less than 1 km away which is 4G

I use a Telkom SIM for voice & text. This app shows that when I'm home, I'm in a spot where I'm not covered by the Telkom transmitter nearest to me, but rather by a transmitter further away. When you tap the transmitter on the map, it shows a circular representation of the coverage area of that specific transmitter. Don't know how accurate it is.

This app cannot find me, says I'm about 1km away
I use an app call OpenSignal, seems way better.
