Anyone know of a place in Cape Town or surrounding areas where I can get quality network cable? I need 30m cat 5e or 6 (depending on the price difference). Premade would be preferable, but anything will do as long as its well made.

Why not make your own? You can get a crimping tool and cable etc from Sybaritic (or others) and do it yourself...

it works out cheaper in the long run if you buy your own crimping tool and put the thing together yourself. Its also more fun :P

Go to an electrical outfitting store (or electronics stores). They sell them in rolls but will also cut to fit. It goes for around R3-R4 per metre of CAT5E. A crimping tool costs about R100 and the plugs cost R4 incl the boot. It's about half the price that a finished cable costs.
Then obviously you just need to know how to make a cable.
