Right, so I have full signal strength on my Blackberry. Since a couple of months ago, though, whenever I'm in my yard or nearby it, the data connection became useless. BBM messages would take over an hour to go through, etc. I phoned MTN who gave me the number to their network guys, who logged a call. Nothing changed though.
Anyway, since I'm hardly ever home, I didn't care too much. It was annoying, but such is life and I honestly didn't have the energy to fight with incompetent people over something like this.
Since yesterday, though, I can't make phonecalls either. The phone shows only a GSM connection and when trying to dial a number, I get a "No Circuit Available" error. This happens with my friends' phones that are on MTN, as well, when here.

What recourse do I have? Any suggestions?

Do you have hair? Pull it out! I have been trying to convince MTN of a network issue at Waterford estates for years now.

I still have hair, though not much, so I'd rather not pull out the remainder. :p Fortunately I'm moving in a couple of months. I had to drive to Fourways to make a phonecall a bit earlier. The people in McDonalds' parking lot probably thought I was a drug dealer.
