Hi there i was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem with my internet connection. Recently i bought myself a new computer and modem router to go with it so that i could have the computer upstairs with the router downstairs.
I have found that i can easily access the internet on it but often it decides to disconnect me from the network, when this happens my router disappears from my list of available networks. This then causes me to disconnect from the internet and the only way to restore the connection is by restarting or turning off the computer.
My computer has a wireless enabled motherboard which is a 'Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter' and my modem is a 'Belkin N Wireless Modem Router F5D8633UK4A' and I'm running Windows Vista.
Any help would be greatly appreciated although i must say i am not particularly brilliant with computers i have a basic understanding.
