Network outages warning...

I doubt anyone would survive a Nuclear war or rather want to survive it.

Depending on where and the damage that was done it can be our finial event and all life will end. See It is not just about big mushroom bombs its about the amount each country have and how many of them will be used.

History knows of 2 bombs and a lot of tests. The world haven't seen what 5000 bombs will do. Not sure if it started with the cold war or not but both the supper powers created something scary... If they are invaded and they are losing, they will not surrender, they WILL launch every single one of those bombs at each other. That is a world ending event.

You can imagine earth just without a atmosphere or a badly damaged one. You can imagine a perpetual nuclear winter. You can imagine every single humanitarian disaster happening at the same time.

EMP will wipe out the internet as we know it. Even servers that live in big bunkers will have no way to communicate or stay powered longer then its power source.

See in the real world prepping or no prepping, survival guide or bunker it doesn't matter. The radiation storms that will move from one city to the next for the next few hundred years will mess us up, mess up our DNA... Reproduction will be a scary event because of radiation.

I am sorry to say despite all the hopeful movies there is no real second chance only death and the horrors survivors will face. This include starvation, bad health, all kinds of illnesses. Nah I rather face the Nuke head on and get it over with. I don't think I want to be a survivor.

But back to reality... our service providers make billions they can afford solar farms and it is about time they look into it.

think you need to change your username there to Apocalyptic Sloth,

that is also my question, but in a SA context with Manhole covers being broken and stolen,
what good will solar panels be, will need dozens of guards just to patrol so they dont get stolen.

Yea that is the thing... The solutions is made impossible due to crime and not even billions of rands can solve it.

One idea would be to build bunker like buildings that are 20m high and mount the panels on-top of it. Let 2 guards live inside the building on rotational shifts. That way IF someone attacks it they can defend it and phone for backup. I don't think there is another way actually. Talk about apocalyptic situations LOL
