network password in XP?

Hi guys

At the moment my bro and I can share files between our pc's without a problem...But how do I make it that he needs to enter a password before he can see my files?

If I understand you correctly your bro has full access to your drive? If so and you don't want to mess with setting up user accounts and permissions, use a program that password protects a directory like lockdir: http://tinyurl.com/327bkk I hope the name of the website (k@K@soft) doesn’t reflect on the quality of the program, oh and truecrypt is another one - there’s probably many others out there…

Access your pc from him (-> run -> your computername / or ip), insert your password, click save password.
