We have a small network inside our house and my husband has a separate network outside but is also connected to the network inside (same workgroup). We switched from our iBurst router to our ADSL one this morning and now he can't connect to the internet unless he disables his outside network. The ADSL network is 192.168.3.*, the iBurst one was 192.168.2.* and his outside network is 192.168.1.* The ADSL network was originally 192.168.1.* but when we got it I changed the ip range because I thought it might clash. Does anyone know what could be causing the conflict?

Sound like a default route issue, I take it when you refer to a outside connection it is a VPN connection?

Did you possibly restart the PC after you made the changes, it could be that the routes has not updated since the changes.

The outside pc is also on a router. I know it's not the ideal setup but it's worked and since neither of us knows anything about networking we just left it like that.
Yes he has rebooted and his internet would only work if he disabled his LAN connection to his router network.

Also the other person outside on his network doesn't have internet access and he prefers it that way.
