Technical Network Trainee

Innovative Communications Solutions Company based in Johannesburg is looking to employ a trainee / intern in the role of technical support.
Ample on the job training will be given with opportunities to grow in the company.

Role functions:

- First point of contact for all technical customer queries
- Configuration management
- Troubleshoot all priority 1 logged faults
- Develop a close relationship with customer technical support personnel
- build scenario tests to help troubleshoot customer issues
- assisting in documenting technical / software related faults discovered on our products
- Assist with functional testing of faulty customer equipment and new equipment before it is delivered to customers
- Assist pre-sales on ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

- Matric
- An IT diploma or NQF level 5 certificate in IT
- Network certifications, A+ or CCNA (a plus)
- Valid Driver’s license
- A quick study
- Microsoft Office proficient, Visio experience (a plus)
- Attention to detail
- Eager to learn and develop within an existing growing company
