I live in Zastron, a small town, and saw Telkom lying cables. Outside the town, towards Bloemfontein they hung cables on the telephone poles, and in town the are lying it underground. Is this fibre or just a copper upgrade? The upgrades are done by Bongani Telecoms a Telkom Service Provider.

Well it is telkom, world cup this year so I think maybe they were just digging a hole.
I phoned these special ppl who hope to stream the 2010 WCS to the rest of the world. I asked this SPECIAL thing at ADSL Desktop support call centre, I asked why is the latency so high. U all know what Mr Special said next.... WHAT IS LATENCY. OMFG I keel u, So Special continued to ask can I connect to the internet. Well if he knew what latency was he could figure that one out for himself. But I said yes, Eish next question can you read your emails..Hmm well I can connect so I suppose I can. So I asked him a question WTF would I get 4mb line just to read my email you blady poephol, phone went dead.
