Hi guys, im currently doing a networking course at Torque IT, just started 2 days ago lol, it includes A+ N+ MCSE (2008) and CCNA, what are your thoughts on the course and is it essential that I do the international exams too? Ive tried asking around on mirc on Ninjacentral without much help because they have all done and passed all CISCO courses with flying colours without even studying, gotta love IRC......

Cool, I'm doing pretty much the same thing.

Started A+ Specialist first, instead of Essentials. :o

Enjoying it though.

Was tempted to do this as well, but my bro in shanghai says its a load of crap and would rather have me come over and work for his pc company and get some decent *nix skills or some such.

Ja. Experience is very useful. ;)

saffakanera : you NEED to do the international exams, otherwise you won't have those qualifications you listed.

no ur right, ill have to do the exams! Postmanpot ya man pretty much the whole course, they have "internal" exams meaning you become torque it qualified, but obviously ur looking for int qualification which is better it seems, i dunno anyway gtg study my A+, i realized there are lots of k*k talkers in the IT industry, present company excluded of course ;) , so im just going to go for this and see where i land :)

Oh okay.

Phew, my exams are done through CompTIA etc., and I get a national certificate at the end of the year.
