Networking Problem - Help Needed

Hi all

I have me Telkom Mega 100WR2 router set up in bridge mode.

Family PC on a Polka account and my PC on a OpenWeb account..

Ok so this is when things get strange, when I download a torrent, it slows(most of the time disconnects) my family's internet connection(polka as the ISP)..
But my internet connection on openweb is fine :?

I phoned polka but they were of no assistance..

Please urgent help needed

Could be polka throttle P2P connections.

Have you port mapped your router to allow the torrent client to use another port except port 80.

Nope I haven't.. How would I do this? I use uTorrent by the way..

utorrent is quiet easy , goto 'options , preferences , connection ' . Have a look at the port used for incoming connections. eg. 27467. Next you have to map this port on your router to direct all traffic to the ip address of your pc. I personnally hate the 105wr but that is irrelevant.
