Networking Two Laptops for Gaming

Hi Guys,

I have two laptops.
One has only a Wireless connection and other one has Wireless and Network cable capabilities.
I was wondering is it possible to link these two computers with out going to buy a Wireless Router.
As I would like to link these two laptops via Wiresless so I can Lan games on them.
One Has Vista and other has XP

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can create a wireless ad-hoc connect between the 2 laptops
